English 11
@Peddie (PJClements)
Students will be steadily assessed and will receive
frequent feedback on performances and approaches. Students’ term marks
will be determined by several factors: the quality of the student’s
writing, quizzes and tests; the depth of the student’s intellectual and
personal contribution to the life of the class; and by the quality of effort
the student makes during the term. In the fall, a student’s midterm mark
will count approximately one third of the term grade; the second half of the
term approximately two thirds. There is a final examination at the end of the
winter term. The numerical grades assigned will correspond
the school’s official grading
descriptors.
